Benefits of Membership

Joining our Team

One of the goals of the Canadian Celiac Association is to help people with celiac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis, as well as their families, cope with their condition. We provide support to our members in a number of ways, including:

  • Five General meetings each year.
  • Four Chapter newsletters each year.
  • Four National newsletters each year.

We provide our members with current medical, nutritional, and dietary information to help them better understand and deal with celiac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis. We have members of every age range and many of our members are parents of a child with Celiac, so you have an opportunity to meet with people who can relate to your situation.

Through the newsletters and chapter meetings, we share information about the latest gluten-free products, ingredients, and publications. Learn cooking tips and tricks; find new places to buy gluten-free products; hear about local restaurants when people have had good, or not so good, experiences.

Our chapter has over 350 active members. As a member of our chapter, there is always someone you can talk to when you need help managing any aspect of living with celiac disease or dermatitis herpetiformis.

How to become a Member

Contact our membership contact. Or come out to one of our chapter meetings. The New Member fee of $50.00 includes valuable resources for coping with the gluten free diet. Renewal fee drops to only $40.00 per year and still includes all the benefits listed above.

You can also download the membership application form below. It must be printed, filled out and mailed to the CCA office (address is on the form) with payment.
